Privacy Policy

Corynx: Live System Monitor is developed by MW Supply Limited. This policy explains the information used by Corynx, its advertising providers and Apple, and the choices available to you.

Device readings and saved history

Corynx reads supported CPU, memory, storage, network, battery, thermal and device information through Apple's public APIs. Its monitoring features process those readings on your device. Corynx does not operate a server that receives your recorded system history.

History is stored in the app's local files. Widgets use a local snapshot shared with the widget extension, and Live Activities display snapshots. Corynx does not provide its own cloud synchronization. Device backups and copies you save or share can exist separately from the app.

If you choose to export history or share diagnostics, the resulting file contains the information you selected. Sending that file to another app, person or service makes it available to that recipient under their own practices. Review files before sharing them.

Accounts, settings and local diagnostics

You do not need a Corynx account. The app does not request your contacts, photos, microphone recordings or precise location to provide device monitoring. Display settings, refresh preferences and related app settings are stored locally.

Corynx also stores weekly counts of feature and purchase-screen interactions for local diagnostics. These counters are not automatically uploaded to us; you can choose to share a diagnostic report. The app keeps up to eight weeks of these counts, without an account identifier or a detailed event timeline.

Advertising in the free version

The free version uses Unity LevelPlay mediation, including ironSource and Unity Ads, and Unity Ad Quality. These services deliver ads, measure advertising activity, assess ad quality and performance, and support fraud prevention and service operation.

Advertising providers process information such as device or installation identifiers, ads displayed and interacted with, performance and diagnostic information, and technical details about the device and connection. Depending on their services and privacy settings, this can include an IP address or approximate region. This advertising information is separate from Corynx's locally recorded monitoring history.

Corynx requests non-personalized advertising and asks its advertising providers not to sell or share your personal data. It does not currently offer an in-app switch to enable personalized ads. Restrictive advertising settings do not mean that no information is processed for delivering ads, diagnostics, measurement or security.

iOS may ask whether to allow tracking. You can review Corynx's tracking permission in iOS Settings under Privacy & Security → Tracking. Declining tracking does not prevent you from using the free monitoring features. An Allow choice does not change Corynx's request for non-personalized ads or its sale/sharing opt-out signal.

When Pro access is established at app startup, Corynx does not start its advertising services. If Pro becomes active after advertising services have already started during free use, Corynx stops additional app-controlled ad requests and clears cached ads. An ad already displaying may finish. This does not delete information already processed by providers or promise an immediate shutdown of every previously started third-party component.

Unity describes its information handling, retention and privacy-request options in its Game Player and App User Privacy Policy. Where available, an ad's privacy controls also offer information or choices. Those controls may apply to the provider that delivered the ad. We may access advertising performance reports through the provider's platform; Corynx does not send its recorded monitoring history to that platform.

Purchases and Apple services

Apple processes Corynx Pro subscriptions and the one-time Lifetime purchase. Corynx uses App Store transaction and subscription-status information on the device to provide and restore purchased access. We do not receive your payment-card details through the app.

Apple makes sales, subscription and financial reports available to the developer. Apple may also provide app usage and diagnostic reports according to your Apple settings and Apple's reporting rules. These services are separate from Corynx's local diagnostic counters. Manage purchases and subscriptions through your Apple Account.

Retention and your choices

Saved monitoring history uses bounded local storage: older entries are replaced as new records fill it. Settings remain until changed or removed with the app's local data. Removing the app using iOS deletion controls removes its app data from that device; separately retained backups and exported files may remain. Offloading an app is different from deleting its data.

You control whether to share exports or contact support. If you email us, we receive your email address and the content or attachments you choose to send, and use them to respond to your request. Contact us about access to or deletion of information you have sent us. Please do not send passwords, payment details or unrelated personal information.

For information held by an advertising provider or Apple, use that provider's privacy controls and request process. Turning off tracking, purchasing Pro or deleting Corynx does not itself request deletion of information those providers already hold.

Children

Corynx is a general-audience device-monitoring app and is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has sent personal information to us, contact us using the address below.
