About

Currio is a fast, beautiful currency converter with a built-in calculator. Pick your currencies, type an amount — or a whole expression like 150 + 12.5% — on any row, and every other currency updates live. It covers 160+ world currencies with rates updated daily, works offline from the last saved rates, and syncs your currency list across your devices through your own private iCloud. No third-party accounts or sign-in. The free version is supported by a single banner ad at the bottom; Currio Pro removes it and adds historical charts, rate alerts, unlimited currencies and premium themes.

Getting started

Tap a currency row to make it the input currency, then type an amount on the keypad — all other rows convert instantly.
Do quick math right in the amount: + − × ÷ % all work. Try 200 − 10% for a discount, or 12.50 × 3 for a bill.
Tap + to add any of 160+ currencies; search by code, name, or country.
Tap Edit to reorder your list by dragging, or swipe a row to remove it, view a chart, or set a rate alert.
Pull down to refresh rates, or tap the status line at the top. A badge shows how fresh your rates are.

Currio Pro

The whole converter and calculator are free, with up to 10 currencies in your list and a single banner ad. Currio Pro adds:

Remove ads — a clean, distraction-free converter.
Historical charts — see 1-month to 1-year trends for a currency pair.
Rate alerts — get a notification when a rate rises above or falls below your target.
Unlimited currencies — add as many as you like.
Premium themes — six accent colours to make Currio yours.

Pro is an auto-renewable subscription: $1.99/month or $9.99/year (with a 7-day free trial on the annual plan). Prices may vary by region. Manage or cancel anytime in iOS Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. Tap the crown / Upgrade to Pro in the app to subscribe or manage your membership.

FAQ

Where do the exchange rates come from?

Live rates come from a free, public exchange-rate service and are updated about once a day. Historical charts (Pro) use the European Central Bank's published reference rates. Rates are indicative and intended for everyday reference — for a transaction, always confirm the rate with your bank or provider.

Does Currio work offline?

Yes. Currio caches the latest rates on your device, so you can keep converting without a connection. The status line shows how old the cached rates are, and updates them the next time you're online.

Why does 200 − 10% give 180?

The percent key uses everyday calculator behaviour: 200 − 10% subtracts 10% of 200 (i.e. 20), giving 180 — handy for discounts and tips. A bare 10% on its own means 0.1.

Is my currency list backed up?

Your list, order, and settings are saved on your device and, when you're signed in to iCloud, synced through your own private iCloud — so they're there on your other devices and restored when you set up a new one. We never receive this data.
