Ironreach

Empire & Conquest RTS — build a realm, advance through the ages, and outwit a rival empire, all on your phone. Version 1.0

What it is

Ironreach is an original real-time strategy game in the classic base-building tradition, rebuilt for touch. Start with a handful of Settlers around your Hearthhall, gather four resources, raise a base, advance through four Ages, and field a counter-based army to conquer rival Realms — in short, mobile-friendly matches against a computer opponent. Everything in the game is original: the Realms, units, buildings and art are our own; it is not affiliated with any other game.

How to play

• Select & command. Tap a unit to select it, or drag on open ground to box-select a group. Tap the ground to move there, tap a resource to gather it, tap an enemy to attack.
• Move the camera. Drag with two fingers to pan; pinch to zoom. Tap the minimap to jump the view.
• Build. Select a Settler to open the build menu, choose a building, then a translucent ghost follows your finger — green means it fits, red means it's blocked. Tap to place; your Settlers walk over and construct it.
• Grow & advance. Train more Settlers and raise houses (Dwellings) for population. At the Hearthhall, tap Advance to research the next Age — the Frontier Age unlocks the Muster Hall and your army.
• Fight. Train Footmen, Spearmen and Archers at the Muster Hall and send them at the enemy. Units obey a rock-paper-scissors of counters, and you can only see enemies within your line of sight (fog of war).
• Win by destroying the enemy Hearthhall — or lose if yours falls.

Realms (factions)

Choose one of several original Realms before a match. Each has its own identity and a lasting bonus — faster gathering, quicker training, or cheaper buildings. Three Realms are free; the rest unlock with Ironreach Pro.

Ironreach Pro

Ironreach is free to play with ads. The optional Ironreach Pro subscription (monthly or annual, with a free trial on the annual plan) removes all ads and unlocks every Realm, the Large and Huge map sizes, the hardest AI difficulties, and cross-device iCloud saves. Prices are shown in your local currency at purchase. Manage or cancel any time from the membership screen (which deep-links to your Apple subscription settings) or in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Ads & tracking

On the free plan, ads appear only on the menus — never during a match. When you first play, iOS asks whether Ironreach may use your device's advertising identifier to personalize ads; this is optional and the game works either way. You can change your choice any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Ironreach Pro removes all ads.

Troubleshooting

My purchase didn't go through / I moved to a new device

Open the Go Pro screen and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed in to the same Apple ID that bought the subscription.

The game feels slow on a big map

Ironreach is tuned for 60fps, but very large armies on the largest maps are heaviest on older devices — try a Standard map, or reduce the AI difficulty.

I can't build the Muster Hall or train soldiers

Military is unlocked in the Frontier Age. Select your Hearthhall and tap Advance once you have enough Forage.
