Duara Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

By downloading or using Duara, you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. What Duara is — and isn't

Duara helps you track and understand your menstrual cycle and offers general, educational information. It is a wellness product, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition.

• Not contraception. Duara has not been evaluated or cleared by the FDA to prevent pregnancy. You can become pregnant on any day of your cycle. Do not rely on Duara, or any day it labels as lower-chance, to avoid pregnancy. To avoid pregnancy, use a proven contraceptive method and talk to a healthcare provider.
• Not a diagnosis. Any "possible factors" or pattern information is general education, not a diagnosis. A clinician can evaluate what is going on for you.
• Estimates only. Predictions of your period, ovulation, and fertile window are estimates based on the data you log and can be wrong.
• No STI protection. Duara does not protect against sexually transmitted infections.

Always seek the advice of a qualified health provider with any questions about a medical condition, and never disregard or delay seeking professional advice because of something in this app.

3. Your data

You are responsible for the information you enter and for any data you choose to share with a partner. How we handle your data is described in the Privacy Policy.

4. Subscriptions (Duara Plus)

• Duara Plus is an auto-renewing subscription offered at $4.99/month or $39.99/year (prices may vary by region), each with a 7-day free trial.
• Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• Purchases are also subject to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.

5. Acceptable use

Use Duara only for your own personal, lawful purposes. Do not attempt to disrupt the app, reverse engineer it except as permitted by law, or use it to harass, coerce, or monitor another person without their genuine consent.

The couples space (partner connection, location, and messaging) is for two people who both freely consent. You must only connect with, and share location or other information with, a partner who has knowingly agreed. Do not use the couples features to track, pressure, surveil, or control another person, or to share someone else's information without their permission. Each person can revoke sharing or unpair at any time, and we may restrict accounts used to abuse these features. If you feel unsafe, Apple's Personal Safety resources and the device's Safety Check can help.

6. No warranty

Duara is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that predictions or information will be accurate, complete, or uninterrupted.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MW Supply Limited will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any decision made or action taken in reliance on the app, including any reproductive or family-planning decision. Your use of Duara is at your own discretion and risk.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
