PDF Scanner Privacy Policy

Effective 31 May 2026 · Last updated 31 May 2026

Summary: PDF Scanner collects no personal data, makes no network requests, contains no advertising, and uses no analytics or third-party SDKs. Your documents and the text recognized from them stay on your device or in your own iCloud Drive.

1. Information we collect

None. PDF Scanner does not ask for, collect, transmit, or store any personally identifiable information. The app has no account system, no login, no user profile, and contacts no servers operated by MW Supply Limited or any third party.

2. Documents and text recognition

Documents you scan or import are stored on your device, and — when iCloud Drive is enabled on your Apple ID — in the app's iCloud Drive folder (iCloud Drive → PDF Scanner). iCloud is a service provided by Apple under Apple's privacy policy; only you can read your own iCloud Drive content.

Text recognition (OCR) runs entirely on-device using Apple's Vision framework. No image, page or recognized text is ever sent off your device by PDF Scanner.

3. Camera

The Scan feature uses your device camera to capture document pages, via Apple's VisionKit document camera. Captured images are processed locally into a PDF and saved to your documents folder. Nothing is uploaded.

4. Sharing

You can choose to share or export documents from PDF Scanner using the system Share sheet (for example, to Files, Mail, Messages, or AirDrop). Where the file goes from there is controlled entirely by the destination you pick. PDF Scanner does not transmit your documents anywhere on its own.

5. Network activity

PDF Scanner makes no network requests of its own. The app does not contact any server owned by MW Supply Limited or any third party.

6. Third-party services

PDF Scanner contains no third-party SDKs, no analytics frameworks, no advertising networks, and no crash reporting services other than Apple's own first-party crash reporting (which is governed entirely by Apple's privacy policy and only runs if you have opted in to Share With App Developers in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements).

7. Children

PDF Scanner is suitable for all ages and is rated 4+ on the App Store. Because the app collects no data of any kind, it complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar regulations worldwide.

8. Changes to this policy

If we ever change how PDF Scanner handles data, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will also be reflected in the App Store privacy nutrition labels for the affected version of the app.

9. Contact

Questions about this privacy policy can be sent to mwsupplylimited@gmail.com.
