Surf is a private web browser for iPhone, iPad, and Mac, with a real file manager inside it. Browse with multiple tabs, block ads and trackers, read articles without the clutter, and keep your files in folders with tags and search — including a private area locked behind Face ID. A secure-connection indicator shows when a site is encrypted, and Clear Browsing Data wipes it whenever you want — after asking first, so it is never a slip. There is no account and no sign-up, and nothing you browse is sent to MW Supply Limited.
Surf keeps your browsing in your own hands. On the free plan your tabs, bookmarks, history, and Top Sites stay on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac; with Surf Pro they are kept in step across your devices through your own iCloud account. Either way MW Supply Limited runs no servers that receive them, there is no account to sign in to, and we cannot see any of it. Cookies and anything you type into a website are never synced, on any plan.
Surf is free to download and use, and shows no advertising. The free plan is a complete browser: unlimited tabs, private tabs, ad & tracker blocking, bookmarks, history, Reader, and the file manager.
Surf Pro ($4.99/month or $29.99/year, with a 3-day free trial) keeps your bookmarks, history, reading list and open tabs in step across your devices through your own iCloud account. It also lifts the free plan's limits: unlimited saved articles instead of 5, no daily download limit, several transfers at once instead of one, and per-site settings that persist — plus a sleep timer and audio & subtitle track selection in the player. On a Mac it also lets Claude work with the page you are on, using the free Surf Connector. One subscription covers iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
Subscriptions are sold through Apple and renew automatically until cancelled; manage or cancel any time in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. Prices are always shown in the app in your local currency.
Yes. The pages you visit, your cookies, and anything you type are handled by Apple's WebKit and stay on your device. A sign-in you ask Surf to remember goes into your keychain, and reaches your other devices only if you switch on iCloud Keychain sync for it — never to us. They are never sent to us, and there is no account to sign in to. You can clear everything any time in Settings.
Yes, with an optional on-device content blocker that removes many ads and known trackers from the web pages you load, for a cleaner and faster web. It runs entirely on your device and reports nothing about the sites you visit. Surf itself shows no advertising on any plan.
A private tab keeps no history, and its cookies and site data are held only in memory and cleared when you close your private tabs — so it leaves nothing behind on your device. Open one from the tab switcher or the browser menu. Private browsing keeps this activity off your device, but it doesn't make you anonymous to the sites you visit, your network, or your internet provider.
Yes. In Settings you can pick Google, DuckDuckGo, or Bing as the engine used when you type a search into the address bar.
No. Surf has no account and no sign-up. If a website you visit requires a login, you log in to that site in the browser — those credentials stay in your own hands — on your device, or in your own iCloud Keychain if you switch that on — and are never sent to us.
Open Settings inside Surf and choose Clear Browsing Data to wipe your history, cookies, and cache. Surf asks you to confirm first, because it signs you out of every site you are signed in to. Bookmarks are kept unless you remove them.
Yes, with Surf Pro on a Mac. Turn it on in … → Add-Ons → Claude, and install the free Surf Connector — a small separate program that lets your Claude software talk to Surf on your own machine. Claude can then read the page you point it at — including anything typed into an ordinary form field on it — click, type, and move between pages. It is off until you switch it on — and from Surf 1.12 for Mac the switch is remembered, so it is on again next time until you turn it off, which you can do from the Automation menu at any moment. (In Surf 1.11 and earlier it was off at every launch and had to be switched on each time.) It never touches private tabs, and Surf refuses to fill password fields, plus any field it recognises as a card or security code — recognition beyond a password field depends on how the site marks it up. It is not available on iPhone or iPad. You need your own Claude software and account; Surf has neither and never sees yours.
