Summary: Corynx is a local system monitor. Everything it reads about your Mac stays on your Mac — it is never transmitted, and we operate no servers and have no account system. Corynx contains no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking. Purchases are handled entirely by Apple; we never see your payment details.
Corynx is developed by MW Supply Limited (“we”). This policy explains what data Corynx handles. The short version: it all stays on your device. You can use every feature without signing in, because there is nothing to sign in to.
To show you live statistics, Corynx reads system information from macOS on your Mac: CPU load, memory and swap usage, GPU usage, disk capacity and input/output, network throughput, battery status, system uptime and the macOS thermal-pressure level. This information is read locally, displayed to you, and held only in memory (plus a short rolling history for the trend graphs). It is never sent off your device, and we never see it. Quitting Corynx discards it.
To show exact component temperatures and fan speeds, you can install the optional, free Corynx Sensor Helper. It reads those sensors from the System Management Controller on your Mac and passes the readings to Corynx locally, over a private connection on the same machine. The Sensor Helper makes no network connections and sends nothing anywhere. If you do not install it, Corynx simply shows the macOS thermal-pressure level instead.
Corynx Pro is an optional upgrade, available as an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or annual) or a one-time lifetime purchase. Purchases, billing, renewals and refunds are handled entirely by Apple through your Apple Account — we never see or store your name, your payment-card details, or your Apple Account. To unlock Pro features, Corynx checks your purchase entitlement directly with the App Store on your device; this check does not identify you to us. You can manage or cancel a subscription in System Settings → your Apple Account → Subscriptions.
Corynx makes no network requests of its own and has no servers to talk to. The only network activity related to the app is Apple’s own App Store, which handles purchase verification at the operating-system level. Opening the support, privacy or Sensor Helper pages launches your web browser to load them from this website.
None. Corynx does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data, usage analytics, or device identifiers. There is no advertising and no tracking. The App Store privacy label for Corynx is “Data Not Collected.”
Corynx contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. The only external party involved is Apple, for App Store purchases, governed by Apple’s privacy policy.
Corynx is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children. It does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
If we change how Corynx handles data, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date above, and reflect material changes in the App Store privacy labels for the affected version.
